How do I log in to Online Banking?

To log in to Online Banking you will require either a Customer Number PIN and password or a Customer Number and Activation Code.

Customers with a Customer Number, PIN and password

  • Customer Number - Starts with your date of birth followed by up to 4 digits
  • PIN - 4 Digits in length
  • Password - Alphanumeric (consisting of both letters and numbers) between 6-20 characters long

If you have all of these security details then you should be able to access your accounts online.

Simply go to www.onlinebanking.iombank.com (opens in a new window) enter your Customer Number and select 'Log in'. You will then be asked for 3 random characters from both your PIN and password. Provided that you've entered the details correctly when you click on 'Next' you should be logged in to the service.

Customers with a Customer Number and Activation Code

  • Customer Number - Starts with your date of birth followed by up to 4 digits
  • Activation Code - 10 digit code sent by post

If you have both your Customer Number and Activation Code you have all you need to activate your Online Banking service. Simply go to www.onlinebanking.iombank.com (opens in a new window) enter your Customer Number and click on 'Log in'. Enter your Activation Code and click on 'Next'. You will then be asked to choose your PIN and password.

Customers without a Customer Number, Activation Code, PIN or password

If you do not remember your Customer Number, you have the option to log in with your Card Number followed by your PIN and Password. If you don’t have access to any of these details - simply complete our Online Banking application form (opens in a new window).
