If my Apple Pay transaction isn't confirmed the first time and I try again, is there a risk I will be charged twice?

When you make a purchase using Apple Pay, the Device Account Number, (your device card number) together with a unique security code for that transaction is used to process your payment.

This security code can only be used once, and therefore your payment cannot be duplicated.
