How can I transfer money between my accounts?

There are various ways you can move money between your accounts with us.

Using Online Banking

You need to log in to Online Banking at www.onlinebanking.iombank.com (opens in a new window).

If you have more than one account, you can use the 'Quick Transfer' box to the left of the 'Account summary' page, this will allow you to make an immediate transfer.


Select 'Payments and transfers' then select 'Make a payment or transfer' and follow the on screen instructions. Using this option transfers can be made immediately or scheduled up to 120 days in the future.

Using our mobile app

Select the account to transfer from, select 'Payments and transfers', then select the account you wish to transfer to. Enter the amount and select 'Ok', then 'Transfer' and finally 'Ok' again to complete your transfer.

Using telephone banking

You are also able to transfer via our telephone service.

Our Telephone Banking service is available Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturday 8am to 1pm. Calls may be recorded.

In a branch

Transfers between your accounts or making a payment to another bank can also be made in branch using your debit card and PIN.
