What is a paid referral fee?

You would have paid a paid referral fee if you went over your overdraft limit by making a withdrawal or payment. You'll have been charged the fee for each day we had to provide funds. For example, if you have a direct debit that takes you over your agreed overdraft limit you will be charged every time we make the payment for you.

Fee Amount - £15 for each transaction up to a maximum of £90 in any charging period.

Please note for future reference the 'Maintenance Charge' 'Paid Referral Fee' and 'Guaranteed Card Payment Fee' have been replaced with a single daily fee called the 'Unarranged Overdraft Fee'.
